What a BUZZ

What a day that was for the inaugural edition of The Big Buzz Festival!

Lots of people, amazing vibes and a wonderful day out for the entire family.

All of our stall holders formed a "village" with clusters of stalls where people could meander through the "streets" browsing products while munching on some of the delicious honey inspired creations our food vendors prepared. Most importantly though, the kids were happy to bee there too, as our Kids Area was HUGE and so so so successful with all ages.

There were also plenty of entertaining educational activities, from the big beehive, to informative talks, to playing with junk and learning about the environment, to bumblebees & monarch butterflies and honey varietals appreciation - there was definitely something for everybody.

Ultimately it was all about BEES and BEEing a strong unified voice for pollinators and the environment.

We have BEEn heard.

See you all next year and.....keep on BUZZing !

Feedback from a Festival goer

Thank you to stall holders and vendors

To all stall holders, vendors and suppliers who bought into the vision many months ago, we would like to extend our deepest thanks for your excitement to be part of it and for your wonderful work preparing for the Festival.

This first-time festival was a great success with a spectacular positive vibe. The event was well managed and it was great to see kids enjoying themselves with many fun activities. Our gratitude to this ZERO Waste event, Grass, Isabella, the crew and most importantly; the Bees who worked hard to bring us all together, it's the reason why we are here!

Thank you to our sponsors and funders

It was the financial support of sponsors and generous donors that has made it all possible.

Thank you to all suppliers and volunteers

It was a real army of volunteers and helpers who have made sure that the festival ra smoothly. It was a real “hive” of “working bees” ready for action, selflessly and for the greater good of the community. You’d make our honeybees, the “girls”, proud.
